It’s because she got by with being America’s best known traitor since Benedict Arnold. Jane was and is a NUT. The quintessential Globalist celebrity.
It’s understandable that Nam was a bad war that was outside of America’s interests. And there were legitimate and illegitimate ways of voicing that opinion and working to make it end.
Hanging out with NVA soldiers in a AAA pit is not the way to go.
The fact that she could still turn profits and LIVE chaps my hide. But she is still going strong.
Ezekiel 33:11 — Say unto them, [As] I live, saith the Lord GOD, I have no pleasure in the death of the wicked; but that the wicked turn from his way and live.
I wish that I shared this quality with the Lord. I do not, I confess. While I would LOVE to learn that Jane Fonda had become a born-again-true-blue-Bible-thumpin’ Christian — in lieu of that — I would be almost as pleased to see her shot for treason (if our courts only had the nerve to prosecute traitors).
Maybe the love that I and others have felt for America is actually a form of idolatry. That I can unhappily put myself at variance with the character of God is a strong indication.
Lord, if you can transform a man as rotten as Nebuchadnezar, you can transform a dingy, traitorous tramp like Jane Fonda. But what would that take?
What’s it going to take to make me become the person I know I need to be?
